What this notice covers
This privacy notice describes information associated with Breaker Board Pro v1.0.0 purchases, manual activation, license reissues, and customer support provided by BlackRidge LLC, doing business as BlackRidge IT. It supplements the software license and does not replace the privacy or buyer terms of an authorized payment provider or streaming marketplace.
What stays on your computer
The Windows application keeps your active break board, buyer assignments, prices, imported artwork, theme settings, backups, and locally protected activation files within your Windows user profile. Its normal operation does not require a BlackRidge account, product telemetry, cloud synchronization, or a recurring online license heartbeat. BlackRidge does not automatically receive your local break data or artwork. You may separately choose to share exports, screenshots, logs, or backup files when requesting support.
What an activation request contains
When you click Copy Request, the application produces text containing the software product identifier, platform, application version, request format version, a random request ID, and a SHA-256 device-binding value derived from a locally generated secret protected in your Windows user profile. The request does not include the raw secret, a hardware serial number, or a MAC address. You send the request to BlackRidge along with your purchase order reference. The binding and the order reference may be associated with an identifiable customer when combined with email or purchase records.
What BlackRidge receives
When you contact BlackRidge or purchase through an authorized provider, BlackRidge may receive your name or email address, order number, product and purchase details, activation request, issued license ID and associated binding, reissue history, support correspondence, and information you voluntarily attach. An authorized merchant of record processes payment details under its own privacy policy. Breaker Board Pro does not collect credit-card numbers from its local application.
Why the information is used
BlackRidge uses this information to verify genuine purchases, issue and reissue licenses, provide customer support, manage authorized-device transfers, investigate fraud or license abuse, handle refund questions with the merchant of record, and comply with applicable business and legal obligations. BlackRidge does not sell activation-request information for advertising.
Service providers and sharing
Relevant information may pass through the email service that handles support correspondence and through the authorized payment provider used for orders and refunds. BlackRidge may share only information reasonably necessary for those purposes or when legally required. The marketing website may generate ordinary hosting, security, or analytics information separately from the offline application's behavior. Third-party websites and platforms have their own notices.
Retention and your choices
BlackRidge retains the minimum order, license-issuance, activation, and support records reasonably needed to administer the perpetual-license relationship, verify genuine reissues, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal or accounting obligations. A fixed deletion deadline is not promised. You may ask about access, corrections, or deletion of your information by emailing support@blackridgeit.net. We will review requests in light of applicable law and any records still needed for license administration or legal obligations.
Security and changes
Activation files and license records should be treated as private. Do not publish license.bbpro files or activation requests in public channels. BlackRidge uses reasonable administrative controls to limit support and license-record access but does not promise perfect security. Material changes to how customer information is handled will be described in an updated notice with a new effective date; revisions to this privacy notice do not retroactively change the terms of an existing perpetual software license.
